The Palmako Grace 6.0m x 3.9m Pent Log Cabin with Canopy (56mm) combines a premium garden room with a sheltered outside area, making it a great garden hideaway to enjoy throughout the year.
Construction
This garden room features both a traditional log cabin and an adjoining canopy. The former is manufactured from thick, laminated 56mm Nordic spruce tongue and groove boards, making it suitable for use the whole year round. The latter can be used for outside storage or as an additional living space during the summer months.
Floor and Roof
The thick 28mm floor and 19mm pent roof are both constructed from tongue and groove, well-known for its weather resistance, durability and strength. The floor is supported by treated foundation joists for protection from ground moisture, while the generous roof overhang helps prevent sun glare.
Roof Covering Options
Please note that the roof does not include a covering. Buy SBS, EPDM or Roof Underlay Felt as an optional extra.
(SBS is a thick, torch-on weatherproof felt with a very long lifespan. Installation should only be carried out by those with advanced DIY skills or a professional installer.
EPDM consists of a thick sheet of weatherproof rubber, which makes a high-quality, long-lasting roof cover. Fixings and adhesives are not included. Installation should only be carried out by those with advanced DIY skills or a professional installer.
Roof Underlay Felt is simple to nail on to the garden building but should only be used as a temporary roof covering or as an underlay to a permanent weatherproof roof cover upgrade.)
Doors and Windows
This log cabin features ample glazing, offering views of the garden and light for the interior.
The partially-glazed door has a laminated frame, which provides resistance to the warping and cracking associated with changes in temperature. A key-operated cylinder lock keeps valuables safe.
Three large windows allow plenty of natural light and ventilation into the garden room. They are double glazed with toughened glass and open via a tilt and turn mechanism.
Assembly, Warranty and Choice of Sizes
Supplied with a 5-year manufacturer’s parts warranty, this Palmako log cabin is available in 3 different sizes. Only professional installers or those with advanced DIY skills should attempt to assemble this garden building.
Timber Treatment
This garden building is delivered untreated. It should be coated in a quality wood preservative upon assembly, and annually thereafter, in order to protect the wood from rot and maintain its attractive appearance.
