Constructed from premium 12mm tongue and groove shiplap cladding, this wooden shed is reassuringly strong and durable. The floor is built from 8mm solid sheet, so is able to support heavier items and withstand frequent footfall, while the 8mm solid sheet roof has a traditional apex design and comes with a weatherproof felt cover to keep out the rain. The diamond-shaped finial and smooth-planed finish make for an extremely attractive appearance.
Storage-friendly access is gained via wide double doors, which are ledged and fitted with a hasp and staple (padlock not included) to keep valuable tools safe from unwanted attention. The opening window provides the interior with plenty of natural light and ventilation. It can be fitted either side of the shed to suit the garden’s orientation.
A competitively-priced, professional installation service is available, although a solid, level base must be prepared in advance of delivery.
This garden shed is supplied dip treated with a 10-year anti-rot guarantee, when supported with annual retreatment. An upgrade to a top coat is available for this shed. This top coat is a wood stain that provides a waterproof coating to resist algal and fungal attack. It nourishes the wood to provide year-round colour and protection. Two coats are applied, by the manufacturer, to both the interior and exterior of the shed. As a dip-treated shed, it is usually recommended that the customer apply a treatment upon assembly; this top coat eliminates the need to do so. The colour of this stain is called “gold” which is an orangey-yellow.
