Description
This Shire Guernsey Double Door Shed provides a large and practical space to store garden tools and machinery in the garden.
Constructed from 12mm tongue and groove shiplap cladding – well-known for its weather resistance and strength- and supported by a 34x34mm frame, this is a robust and hardwearing 10×7 shed. The floor is also durable 12mm tongue and groove, capable of withstanding heavy equipment and footfall. The 8mm apex roof is OSB sheet, featuring a slight overhang providing some protection from sun and showers to the interior space. Felt roof covering is included.
Large double doors provide superb access for easy storage of gardening tools and machinery. The interior benefits from light and ventilation from the two single glazed opening windows. This shed is supplied dip treated with a 10-year anti-rot guarantee, when supported with annual retreatment. An upgrade to a top coat is available for this shed. This top coat is a wood stain that provides a waterproof coating to resist algal and fungal attack. It nourishes the wood to provide year-round colour and protection. Two coats are applied, by the manufacturer, to both the interior and exterior of the shed. As a dip-treated shed, it is usually recommended that the customer apply a treatment upon assembly; this top coat eliminates the need to do so. The colour of this stain is called “gold” which is an orangey-yellow.
