Description
The 13’2 x 6’6 Shire Jersey Double Door Wooden Garden Shed (4.33m x 2.2m) provides large and practical outside storage and makes a great garden workshop too.
Constructed from 12mm tongue and groove shiplap cladding – well-known for its weather resistance and strength – and supported by a 34x34mm frame, this is a robust and hardwearing wooden shed. The floor is also durable 12mm tongue and groove, capable of withstanding heavy equipment and footfall. The 11mm apex roof is OSB sheet, featuring a slight overhang, and is fitted with a felt roof cover to keep the interior dry.
The large double doors provide storage-friendly access and are fitted with a pad bolt to keep everything safe (padlock not included). The interior benefits from light and ventilation from the 3 single glazed opening windows. These windows can be positioned in eight different places, enabling personalisation of the shed’s design. This shed is supplied dip treated with a 10-year anti-rot guarantee, when supported with annual retreatment. An upgrade to a top coat is available for this shed. This top coat is a wood stain that provides a waterproof coating to resist algal and fungal attack. It nourishes the wood to provide year-round colour and protection. Two coats are applied, by the manufacturer, to both the interior and exterior of the shed. As a dip-treated shed, it is usually recommended that the customer apply a treatment upon assembly; this top coat eliminates the need to do so. The colour of this stain is called “gold” which is an orangey-yellow.
