Constructed from 12mm tongue and groove shiplap cladding on a solid 34mm x 34mm frame, this wooden shed is reassuringly strong and durable. Both the floor and apex roof are also built from premium 12mm tongue and groove, the latter coming with a felt covering to provide complete weatherproof protection.

Entry is gained via a single door, which can be secured by a pad bolt (padlock not included) to keep valuable tools safe from unwanted attention. In keeping with the security-conscious design, the door’s full-length piano hinges have no external fixings, so cannot be tampered with from the outside.

Four fixed windows provide an abundance of natural light, which is invaluable when accessing stored items or carrying out practical work.

This 6×10 shed includes the fixings and instructions required for a simple assembly. The door can be placed at either end of the structure and, along with the windows, is pre-hung to keep the assembly as straightforward as possible.

This shed is supplied dip treated with a 10-year anti-rot guarantee, when supported with annual retreatment. An upgrade to a top coat is available for this shed. This top coat is a wood stain that provides a waterproof coating to resist algal and fungal attack. It nourishes the wood to provide year-round colour and protection. Two coats are applied, by the manufacturer, to both the interior and exterior of the shed. As a dip-treated shed, it is usually recommended that the customer apply a treatment upon assembly; this top coat eliminates the need to do so. The colour of this stain is called “gold” which is an orangey-yellow.
