The 6′ x 4′ Shire Shiplap Pent Wooden Garden Shed (1.85m x 1.25m) has a smart contemporary design, premium build and offers excellent outdoor storage in a smaller garden.
Constructed from 12mm tongue and groove shiplap cladding on a solid 34mm x 34mm frame, this wooden shed is reassuringly strong and durable. The floor is constructed from 12mm tongue and groove too, perfectly equipped for storing heavier items and frequent footfall. The 11mm solid sheet roof has a fashionable pent design and comes with a weatherproof felt cover to keep out the rain.
Entry is gained via a single door, which can be secured by a pad bolt (padlock not included) to keep valuable tools safe from unwanted attention. One opening window, next to the door, provides the interior with plenty of natural light and ventilation. The door and window can be positioned either side of each other, according to taste.
A competitively-priced, professional installation service is available, although a solid, level base must be prepared in advance of delivery.
This shed is supplied dip treated with a 10-year anti-rot guarantee, when supported with annual retreatment. An upgrade to a top coat is available for this shed. This top coat is a wood stain that provides a waterproof coating to resist algal and fungal attack. It nourishes the wood to provide year-round colour and protection. Two coats are applied, by the manufacturer, to both the interior and exterior of the shed. As a dip-treated shed, it is usually recommended that the customer apply a treatment upon assembly; this top coat eliminates the need to do so. The colour of this stain is called “gold” which is an orangey-yellow.
