Description
The Palmako Claudia 3.2m x 2.4m Log Cabin Summer House (28mm) has an eye-catching pavilion-style design offering plenty of natural light, making it a fantastic garden retreat in which to relax or entertain friends.
This log cabin is manufactured from premium, interlocking 28mm Nordic spruce logs, with a chalet-cut design and added wind braces, for unbeatable all-round weatherproof protection.
The floor and roof are both constructed from 19mm tongue and groove cladding, well-known for its weather resistance, durability and strength. The former is supported by pressure treated foundation joists to provide a hardwearing, long-lasting structure and protection from ground moisture. The latter features a reverse apex design for increased headroom and the opportunity to store taller items. Please note that the roof does not include a covering, which is available as an optional upgrade. Choose from SBS, EPDM, Charcoal Felt Shingles or Roof Underlay Felt.
(SBS is a thick, torch-on weatherproof felt with a very long lifespan. Installation should only be carried out by those with advanced DIY skills or a professional installer.
EPDM consists of a thick sheet of weatherproof rubber, which makes a high-quality, long-lasting roof cover. Fixings and adhesives are not included. Installation should only be carried out by those with advanced DIY skills or a professional installer.
Weatherproof Charcoal Felt Roof Shingles are attractive, easy to fit and will last for years.
Roof Underlay Felt is simple to nail on to the garden building but should only be used as a temporary roof covering or as an underlay to a permanent weatherproof roof cover upgrade.)
Access is gained via a single door, which is partially-glazed with safety glass and has a laminated frame to keep out draughts, as well as to provide resistance to the warping and cracking associated with changes in temperature. There is also a stainless-steel door sill cover, giving long-term protection to the timber against frequent footfall. A key-operated cylinder lock keeps valuable items safe from unwanted attention.
Four large opening windows, positioned on 3 sides of the summer house, provide an abundance of natural light and welcome ventilation on a hot summer’s day.

This garden cabin is supplied untreated. Apply an anti-fungal treatment upon assembly and annually, thereafter, to maintain the log cabin’s attractive appearance and validate the guarantee. Alternatively, paint can be applied for a more individual style.
